VOLUNTEERS

St Ninian’s is supported by several volunteers, who ensure the smooth running of  Parish activities and Liturgy. Please consider supporting the Parish by becoming a altar server,  reader, a member of the choir or, pass keeper please contact Des at Des@mercattours.com OR

SSVP

Our parish has an active society of St Vincent de Paul that continues to respond to the need of the poor. 07935605213 is the dedicated line for anyone in need of assistance.

Study group

ONE WORLD GROUP

The One World team support those in need at home and in other parts of the world through prayer, raising awareness and fund raising. For any information, please contact Carol at 0131 2721 223 /07762924916  cmulvenna@btinternet.com

OUTREACH

Our Parish has a wonderful outreach team that is actively involve with Bethany Christian Trust, whose core value is to seek to put Christian love into action and demonstrate the transforming impact of the Gospel in all that we do. Parishioners from St Ninian’s have provided a catering team since the 2018/19 session.

OVER 60S

This is a very popular Parish social club that meets every Monday for fun and fund-raising activities. For details, please contact John McDowell at jm57659@gmail.com

OPEN DOOR

This group provide soup, sandwiches, chat, and friendly company. They meet once a month in the Hall and it is open to parishioners and the local community. For more details, please contact Moira at moiraareid@btinternet.com

Study Group

MEN’S GROUP

Every month the Men’s Group meet to enjoy a variety of social occasions. This includes walking tours of the city, guest speakers, visits to museums, sites of historical interest and sporting activities. 

August sees a visit to the Festival while the end of the year we have  a meal at a local restaurant. New members are always warmly welcomed, be they from the local parish or the surrounding community. For more details, please contact Des at Des@mercattours.com
